Hello, my name is Shawn.
I purchased my LR3 about 3 months ago, but only recently found this forum. I am a part of several Colorado forums for imports/compact cars/racing so I am no stranger to the format. A little about my truck, its the SE in my sig there, its at 30,000 with no real problems yet besides the GY tire thing and there seems to be an exhaust leak, but no easy way to access it. No bother, I will have to take it in. I love the truck, have been off road a few times and love the time I have had with the truck. I hope to meet some other LR3 enthusiats on this forum.

You are in the right place...we have one of the neatests LR3 bunches around. Nathan Woods (Nwoods) is over in your neck of the woods...We dubbed his LR3 the Storm trooper since its all white with black accents (even the front bumper end caps are white) and his is coil-sprung.
We've got Tami (Sideview) with her heavily wheeled LR3...that girl don't play!... TN-LR3 wheeled his pretty hard as well ut he moved up the ranks (or down?..lol) do a D-90 Those are the firt that come to mind but WELCOME ...get ready for another addiction!

Hey Shawn, welcome to Land Rover ownership. There's a lot to be learned, and even more to be experienced. This particular forum is not very active on the LR3 side of things, but VERY active elsewhere within it's pages.
For other LR3 related discussions, check out: - http://www.lrrforums.com/forum.php (many LR3 owners on this site) - http://www.landroverworld.org/forums...splay.php?f=35 (good group of folks) - http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/index.php (the motherlode of LR3 related info and discussions) Also, I wheel my LR3 pretty hard and post photos and tidbits regularly here: http://blog.nextstepdesigns.com/ (use the categories on the right) I think you said you were in the Denver area? If so, you need to check out the Solihull Society at: http://solihullsociety.org/ This club is well organized and very active, though there are few LR3 owners. However, they seem to have a pretty open attitude once you get past the gentle ribbing for buying a computer on wheels. Solihull puts on the annual Land Rover National Rally and it started TODAY and goes through the weekend. You need to come out and play! http://www.landrovernationalrally.com/ Cheers, Nathan Woods www.OffRoving.com |

Right on! I will start researching those right away! Thanks for the other welcomes, I see that its not so dead over here after all. I can't make Montrose, but there will be others... I have 3 kids, one on the way and work for Comcast doing the night shift and I am starting a carpet cleaning business for extra money so that the wife doesn't have to work  We do plan on having several camping trips, Thats what we got the truck for! So that we could transport our tribe of kids around to ANY where we needed. Does damn good too for a rolling computer
![]() Hey Woods, I would like to see your rig. I see that you have some modifications going on there...I am very interested in seeing what can be done to these....
