I've put on 4 hella 4000's on my roof rack. I am usuing two relays into one dash mounted switch. I own a 2006 LR3 and need a little bit of help.
I am having issues where to tap my power source into for the switch. I have been told I just can't splice/tap into any old wire on my LR3 since the LR3 has a special computer system in which if I mess with might screw something up. I know most people just tap into the parking lights or the fogs and even the main head lights. I also know Land Rover sells a factory light set. How are those lights wirred into the LR3. I would love any help out there. Thanks, Hiserote |

if your looking for a constant 12v source you could always tap straight off the battery. A ring connector some wire a fuse inline for safety sake and your on your way.
I don't know the LR3 electrical system well enough to tell you where to safely tap in. I would try tappin in at the factory fog light switch though if it was my truck.

Yes be careful most systems in the truck are monitored. However you can tap power from the 12v ACC lines in the dash for your electronics. Those should give you power to run the switch, I would also put a fuse inline there as well, so you don't blow your line.
