operating the entertainment system

Ok I am at the end of my rope. I have been playing with this thing for hours and can't figure out how to get the DVD system to play through the car speakers. We have a 2007 with the DVD in the head rest. There are headphone outputs in both rear doors, and back of the console, and third row. I can get both tv's to play the same dvd but no sound through the speakers. Am I just missing something, or do I have to buy some sort of adapter? Thank you for all your help. This is our first rover, and I am sure I will have more ?.

You need something plugged into the Aux port on the back of the console. Land Rover used these little dummy plugs, but you can use any headphone jack.

Head to the dealer and ask for the dummy plug. They are only a couple bucks.

But then again, why would you want to listen to Backyardigans over and over again on a long trip? Make those kids use headphones!
