Default Parking Lights

My wife noticed (while driving behind me) that my parking lights (or whatever you call the light in the bottom outer corner of each headlight) and tail lights come on for about 15 seconds and then off for 15, then repeat... This happens when its in drive and in park. This only happens when the headlight switch is in the fully "off" position.

My vehicle is an '06 LR3 (US)

Any tips?

First check the battery cables, a bad connection there could cause a weird problem like that. Make sure nothing was spilled in the center console and also check the right front carpet by the A-pillar for water leakage from the sunroof drains. That's my best guess of where to start, that's a weird one.
