Default Picked Up Our 06 HSE Yesterday!!!

We took delivery of our 06 LR3 HSE yesterday at the local Land Rover dealer down in Chantilly, VA. (Great dealership btw)

While we were down in VA we were able to have an early dinner with our son who is attending the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico. I must admit that was even better than getting the LR3.

The drive back to CT in the LR3 was awesome. I knew I would like the LR3 based on a few test drives of other LR3's I was considering but you really can't tell how a car drives until you do a bit of a road trip.

My DD has been my 05 F55 C6 DSOM vette but I gotta tell ya, I am thinking that my winter car is now my DD!!!

Here's two pics from the eBay listing:

Looking forward to the experience of being a Land Rover owner.

Cheers

UPDATE - Forest, Thank you again for the invite to your off road event on Nov 28, 29 and 30 in Killngworth, CT at Deer Lake. It sounds awesome! We are travelling back down to Quantico to visit our son for the Holiday so I will miss your event. But good luck! It sounds like you have a fantastic venue and excellent participation from the whole NE Region. I can't wait to see pics that get posted!
