Default Plastic cover broken off of the roof (New Owner)

I just bought a 06 LR3 SE and got a great deal, the only thing i am wondering is what the plastic cover/box is on the middle of the back end of the roof. It was broken off and I am trying to figure out if I can find a replacement, but i don't even know what it was to look. (BTW if it helps it looked like the previous owner backed into something low and it came off) I don't have pictures but it is in the very center along the back edge of the roof, just in front of the edge of the upper tailgate. There also looked like there was a wire going to it, originally i thought it might be the antenna but that is embedded in the windows, (I think).

Anyway any help would be appreciated.

thats the satelite connection, you need that for alot of functions. they call it the shark fin,

how the hell did you buy the thing without it getting replaced? Go back to the dealer or the owner and make them pay the bill.

it aint a cheap part, its somwhere around three or four hundred bucks.

If it's not being used for anything you might get the flat plastic plug to insert instead.
