Preowned Certified

If a Land Rover dealerships sells a LR3 Preowned Certified are they required to do the 119 point inspection for certification? Also, are they required to keep documentation on file? I have had nothing but trouble with my LR3 since the day I brought it home, literally (the battery died the first night I had it and they had to come over and jump it off and take it and replace the battey). Since then, it has been one problem after another. All are covered by warranty, but all could have been avoided if the car had been inspected prior to selling. I am thinking of contacting Landrover USA (not sure if it will matter) but I don't want anyone else to be screwed by this dealership.....

I bought mine certified pre-owned from north point land rover in atlanta. I have not had the slightest problem out of it. My salesperson assured me that they only certified the very best LR's at their dealership. Almost all of their certified cars have been bought, and serviced there at the dealership. Yes, they had it all on record at north point. I would like to think all of the LR dealerships would do this. sorry to hear about your bad experience.
