am schedule to change my rear brake pad, what do you recommend? land rover dealers they charges too much. where can i get oem rear brake pads. and what brand is nice.
My response to another brake thread:
My front brakes just went and I was faced with the same problem. Dealer quoted me $890 for one rotor and pads on both sides (front only).
Instead I bought the parts from Atlantic British and had a local shop do the work. (I live in Hampstead MD, close, but probably not worth driving up here when you should be able to get it done locally)
I paid $285 for the parts, which was 2 rotors, front brake pad kit and brake sensor. All OEM, land rover parts.
(Since it wasn't much more I just did both rotors)
Install was $110.
So total bill was less then $400 and everything came out great.
