Default rear locking diff.....how do you know if you have one?

I bought a 2007 SE last summer, it was a lease return. I recently got curious about how to tell (aside from calling and asking the dealer) how to tell if you have the rear locking diff option. In the display (no GPS screen in this one), I have seen a lock and wheels come on, but when I turn the wheel, the wheels in the display also turn. I assume if the rear is a locking diff, you would get an image of 4 wheels and 2 diff locks?

I am assuming mine does not have the rear locking diff.....but it never hurts to ask......

I beleve it was only an option on the hse. Do you have a full size spare? that was part of the option as well.

good point. No, I do not.....mystery solved.....I should have been able to figure that one out....so it goes.

It was an option on both models, at least on the 2008, the only year I have brochures on.

Thanks for the reply!

Correct is was an option on the SE model also and did include a full spare, so you probably don't.

The only other way is to look underneath for the diff lock motor on the rear differential.
