Default right side plastic protector on bottom of door????

I was recently driving my 06 LR3 and noticed that one of my plastic protectors that runs along the outside bottom of the door fell off. It's not the running boards but right above that. Im guessing it is the really cold weather but I dont know, any ideas.

I just went out and looked at mine and they're nice and tight, however, cold weather is not an issue down here. It's possible the cold made it more brittle or possibly something hit it and knocked it off???

Mine fell off when wading in fast moving water. They are held on by simple plastic clips. My dealer replaced the first one under warranty.

The A-pillars are known to blow off in strong cross winds too. I keep a little baggy of spare clips in my tool kit now :-)

I freaked the first time it happened, but now I just pop them back on with my fist.

Mine kept falling off, too. Also on the driver's side. I just kept popping it back on. Then I mentioned it to the dealer and they replaced the clips. Seems OK now.
