Some more kick in a tougher V8? - Land Rovers Only

Hypothetically does anyone know of a good LR3 replacement engine with more hp if i were to want to upgrade my power a bit? I'm looking for something between 350-400

Anyone supercharged one of these? If it's the same lump as the Jag.. I think they have a supercharged version.

I've never been a fan of the LR3, I'm out of the demographic in some ways anyway, but I think I'd want a sports car wrapped around 400 hp myself.

I hate tell you this but it is still going to be a slow pig with 400 AWHP you will run 15's in 1/4 mile and 6.5 0 to 60 ...... If you want some thing fast in a SUV get a Jeep SRT8 Follow-Up Test: 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

Do you have the 50k to put into a 50k truck to get to be as fast as a 40 k truck? Sell it and get a Supercharged Sport. I can't imagine the clusterfook of wire harnesses and tubes under the hood of an LR3 that you would need to make work.

I wouldnt supercharge it or put a turbo.

if it blows it costs 12 grand for a new motor.
