Default Telephone Integration System...antenna...

I know that some of us have the "Personal Telephone Integration System", which may, or may not, include Bluetooth capabilities. For this discussion, please ignore bluetooth. It is a great way to link your phone to the LR3, but what I'm interested in is the external antenna built in to the vehicle. An external antenna makes a HUGE difference in reception - up to 10-20 times. So to have one built in is perfect...except it supposedly has to be a Nokia of a few specific models, and you need a rather expensive cradle.

Looking in to this a bit, you may NOT need the cradle, if all your concerned with is the antenna (and if you have bluetooth, all the better for using the vehicle controls for the phone). If you have this set up, and you flip up ye center console, you'll see that the center connection is an RF one (antenna). I'm currently trying to find the part to mate to it, and that, along with a pigtail to go to the external antenna jack of my phone (Verizon), I *should* be good to go.

So, if anyone has been down this road, I'd appreciate any info you can provide. I'll post if I find what I need to adapt the connection, as well as if it works or fries my phone.....
