Default Water Coming In From ROOF

Hey all,

I have an 05 LR3...just recently I had water coming in from the roof. Techs. said that the grids or something were blocked and they had to take the whole roof off.

Anyone else had this trouble?

don't you mean taking the whole headliner off...

its not really feasible to take off the whole roof without busting out a cutting wheel or a plasma cutter.

I have a 2006 LR3 and recently had water dripping from the area behind the rearview mirror. I called the dealer and they suggested that the drain vents around the sunroof can get clogged and they usually just blow them out with compressed air to unclog them. I decided to try this myself and I either did it correctly or got lucky because I haven't had the same problem since.

The drain vents are located at each of the 4 corners of the sunroof well - visible from the top of the vehicle when the sunroof is completely open. In my case, I think water existing in the well from when my sunroof was open for a short while, while it rained recently.
