No one said they weren't a capable truck, but don't confuse capability with ruggedness in construction. I still don't believe they are any more capable than a sound RRC.

As for the “wheel just falling off” I’m w/ Sodirty…we’re missing something.
I wheeled my LR3 alot, i know what their capable of and what their not designed to be put through. They are plenty capable but their are some things an older disco,RRC or d-90 can do better. I do miss my car and it scratched up plastic panels, way to big of tires for the car, and great performance. But theirs something about solid axles and coils thats great!!

and their is something else were missing about the wheel thing

Damn I love a good debat

RRC 30 squeaks/creaks and counting

LR3 0

Now TN, I know you wheeled your LR3 which was sweet to see. As for ruggedness, I guess only time will tell. Granted it will be a long haul if my LR3 plans to beat out my RRC. I've said this to people before but how many 12 year old truck can be driven to Moab, beat up and driven home. Or better yet driven over 2000 miles down in baja...and driven home. Oh wait, did I tell you about the time I backed it off a 20 foot cliff in Sedona, dragged it on it's roof out of the gully, turned it up right and drove it home to San Diego???
I love Land Rovers!
Have a great weekend.
