Default '06 Rover Sport wheels on a '02 Disco?

Has anyone fitted the '06 Rover Sport wheels on a Discovery II? I currently have the 18" Hurricanes but would love to see a DII w/ the 20" sport wheels. Any pictures?

I believe the 06 wheels have a different offset and possibly a different bolt pattern the a DII.
Other then looks, why are you looking to put 20"ers on a DII, the ride will not be that goos and they have no side wall so if you go of the road, you will loose tires quickly.
I have a friend who took his new Sport out one weekend and lost 2 tires to stones. That is why most people, if they are planning on wheeling, want to get rid of their 18"ers and go to 16's.

This car does not go off road. Sadly, my wife drives her dogs to agility trial with it, and I commute 3 days a week with it. I saw a set of 20" Rover wheels on ebay and the price for the wheels and tires is cheaper than a new set of Michelin XPC'c shipped and mounted. So, its for looks only.

does that pic look fake to anyone else?

anyway, I'm no expert, but if its the same bolt pattern, i dont see why they wouldn't fit.

*disclaimer* not that I aprove of 20's on a Rover, but its your truck , so do whatever you want with it

you know...you dont need to get Michelin XPCs. They are IMO the most overrated and overpriced tire you could possibly put on your rover. For less you could get some nice BFG A/Ts.

actually....if its tires your looking for....ive got some Toyo opencountrys to sell....6k miles on them....though im not sure about shipping.

So I decided against the 20" Rover wheels. I just put on a new set 255/55/18 Toyo Proxes ST and am very happy with the results. This is a street only vehicle so the Bilstein/Toyo combo is very smooth and quiet. What a difference over the old crappy Goodyear Wranglers.

At 70 mph the car is so smooth.

I think you made a good choice. I saw an 04 Disco up in Raleigh the other day with 22" wheels and thought it looked ridiculous - absolutely absurd. I don't mind the 18" wheels, especially if you are just using them on pavement.
