Question 18" D2 wheels onto Classic?!

Is it possible to get some 18" D2's to fit on a Classic if I was to change the wheel hub to the D2 version/is this possible? I have to change the disc & pads all round anyway for the MOT but what else would I need to change to make them fit?

I believe there are more process than just changing hub to fit the D2 wheels. I believe RR classic has 5x6.25 lug space and D2 and P38 is different. So there might be more involved than just changing hub. Anyone else?

I know you can buy some hub adapters/spacers to fit newer 18" wheels (5X120) onto the earlier Rovers. I've only seen the set sold in th U.K. at www.simmonites.co.uk

I'm sure a machine shop could fab some?
