I'll revive this old thread. I'm on my second set of tires from Hi-Tec (now Treadwright). I air them down to 16-18 psi for off road, go up to 35 psi on the highway, and run over 70 mph for hundreds of miles. No problems. At all. The novaculite at Hot Springs will shred the tread on a tire long before you wear it down, so I'll not spend big $$$ on BFG KM2's just to cut them to pieces. Ask for BFG carcasses for the 3 ply sidewall.

Treadwright has a disclaimer about that on their sight.
