I have a 2000 disco. with all original stock parts, and i was thinking about getting 6" 7" steel rims also, what would be a good/safe tire size to go with? I was looking at bf g's or grabbers, but don't know a safe size...help!
Stay away from the grabbers. Not a good tire at all for the disco. By stock; is ride height stock as well? If lifted, what size lift are you running? What is the use of the vehicle? On road, off road, a mix of both? Percentage of each if both...?

Yes the height is stock, im running 255/55/r18 right now, wich I can't find any tires I like in that size rim. I don't do an over abundance of off-roading, or anything to extreme like mudding, mostly back country trails. about 65% of my driving is highway, so I would like to find a good set of AT's. plus I like the looks of the black steel rims. I was reading that 245/75r16 would fit fine with stock height, is this true?
yea thats what alot of ppl said, i was just worried about the backspacking of the black rims cause there 4.5" i think and regular rims are 7"? so to be safe thats why i went with 245/70/16
I also am looking at getting the steel rims from atlantic. what did you guys do for lug nuts? also, I was looking at craigers soft 8's but I have no idea how to know what size to get. would love any help you guys could give me.
that looks sweet . I am looking and the same rims on Alantic British's web site and there rim looks different than yours Do you run a diffent back spacing cause there rim look like the center comes out more than yours
jupiter, are you running spacers or are those rims offset that much?
No spacers. I believe they have an offset of 4" or 4.25". Where as stock is around 6" or so. Someone used to have the exact offsets for ABs wheels and stock.
