backspacing? - Land Rovers Only

What is the stock backspacing on a D1? If I was was to put 265/75/16 tires on with an 8" wide wheel what should I correct the backspacing to for proper turning radius?

Depends on the wheel. The backspacing might be the same on a 7" rim as an 8" rim. For example, my rims are 7" wide and have a 3.5" backspace which give it a wider stance than a stock 7" LR rim.
