Default Can I go bigger than 16" rims on an S1 Discovery?

hi. I have a series 1 (1991) Discovery, and would like to put some bigger wheels on it for around town (ie say 18" or 19" wheels with lower profile road tyres) , and keep the offroad tires on the 16" land rover alloys for doing trips. I know the stud pattern is different to Disco S2+ and later RR etc, what I'm wondering is if there are any other cars (from any era) that share the same stud pattern and have a similar (ie. workable) offset. Seems that if the pattern really is unique to that era Land Rover, getting big alloys will be really expensive and quite difficult so I should forget about it, whereas if there are other relatively common cars with the same pattern, likelihood of finding aftermarket rims at a reasonable price goes up significantly. Anyone got any ideas? have been searching the web and rang the LR parts guys with no luck so far.....

oh, and what is the precise pcd and offset info for these wheels -can anyone be specific?

cheers

oh, forgot to mention - I can't run the D2 adapters here (not legal, and too expensive anyway), so needs to be the standard S1 pattern.

apologies - now that i know the pcd is 5x6.5, i have located a number of similar threads. i guess i just want to confirm that there are no other vehicles with similar offsets (eg i understand BMW has a similar pattern, but the offset will not work?). what does the offset need to be? i would prob be looking for 18" as a compromise between tire cost and ride quality. i understand the purists won't agree, but if you spend 90% of the time on the road, why not run road wheels. thats the plan, if its remotely economical to buy them, which given some of the other threads, doesnt appear to be likely. i'm not up for custom wheels!
