Do tires grow? - Land Rovers Only

Hey folks,

I'm looking for a set of tires and gettin frustrated with tire sizes. I need 31/32 by 10" . I'm puting a 2" lift on my 91 hunter. I know the conversions but tires are not even close any more. I looked at a set of bfg knock off 33x12.5x15 they were 31"x10". The 265/75/16;s were 30"x 9.5 and 235/85/16 were 30.5x 8"

Now I'm measuring these off the rim and standind in tire rack measuring across. Are they expected to grow when mounted? I appologize if this is a silly question. I'm buying new tires and I wnat to get it right.

I have 205/80/16 wich measure 28"x 6" - 8" to the bulge.
