Default Future MTRs???

I was looking through images from last years auto show and forgot about these. This was on the Jeep Patriot concept. Does anyone know more about these?

Very similar to the MT/R lugs.

they are wider spaced and offset by 1/2 lug (as if the tire was cut in R and L halves and turned 1/2 lug.

Possibly a future true mud terrain.

thanks for the photo.

Looks like the wider lug spacing will be a big improvement.

I love the current MT/R, Hopefully this will be a full mud for the Easties!

What is going on with those dual springs? are those the reverse springs like Safari Gard?
