Default Hey Crysyn!

Is this to say that 245/70/16 will fit a stock D1 rim with no problem? or what.

Thanx!

Well, I have a DII, but I do not think you would have a problem what so ever on your DI.

As far as BIG-O tires, I understand they have a great no questions ask tire replacement warranty that just comes with the tire with out having to pay extra. I have never personally ran a BIG-O tire though.

What are you looking for? An all-terrain?

Sort of. I'm looking for a good, aggressive tire for snow and mud. I don't care about "road noise" that doesn't bother me. I'm going to put the stock michelin all-terrains back on after my trip anyway.

Found a used set of 245/70/16 w/about 80% tread for $212 mounted and balanced. sounds like a good deal to me. Gonna' go check it out.

If you are look for a bargain on some M/T's.....well do you have PEP BOYS where you live?

They are running a buy 3 get one free on their Definity tire, they are just under a hundred bucks a pop, plus the rebate, after tax, balancing etc it comes out to $426.00, I have heard some good things about these tires, not bad looking and I believed they are siped(not positive).

Here are some links:
Jeep & Off Road Product Reviews - Definity MT
Utah 4x4 Club Forum > Definity tires
Definity Dakota M/T tires anyone? - JeepForum.com

Its made by Cooper by the way.

Ok, they are siped, so you should do ok on some snowy/icy roads as well. They are supposed to clean good and they have somewhat of a side wall tread.

That said, you cant go wrong on two hundred bucks for a set of tires.
