Hello,
I could use some advice about getting four new tires for my LR3 SE 2006. I am looking at the General Tire Grabber AT II. Tire rack has them for $179 each. Anyone know of a better place?
I put a set of 255/60/18s on the 2004 D2 in October of 2007 and I like 'em. They've held up very well and work well in the mud and sand down here in S. Florida. I'll be ordering a set for the wife's LR3 next month. Oh yeah, I bought them from Tire Rack and 179.00 per tire is about as good a price as you're going to find for that tire.... Good luck!

I have them on my Disco... they have worked out great here in the sandy clay of NC. Very low tire noise in comparison to the BFG's I used to have which is surprising because they look like a very similar pattern to me.

Did you get the 255/55/18 or 255/60/18? I used the 60 on my DII and they really work well. I was surprised at how quiet they are too. Also, speedo is only off a couple mph due to the taller tire.
