Obvious question: of all the people that have posted pics of their D1s, have y'all had vibe problems yet?

And those with OMEs: MD, or HD?

Just my 2cents here, if you do go with OME, only get HD....I suggest getting the higher rate (ie. stiffer) springs of any brand you buy.....you will regret going with light springs because they will sag down if you ever plan on putting on an HD bumper or carrying much in the back/on top.

Oh, I know, I meant them. Because if you notice, most people are either just saying 2" or OME, but not going into detail. That's why I asked.

I knew my RoverTym 2" HD springs were higher than 2" now at least I know I'm not crazy. I love mine and I'm on 265/75/16's I'll try and find a good pic, but here is the best I have on this machine another I'll give you some good shots tomorrow on level ground

Here is a standard OME HD lift. I have found it to be, for me, an excellent blend of on road manners with excellent off-road capabilities. Here is a pic from a recent trip to windrock. There were several off camber areas, that I fear with a taller truck, she would tip over for sure. Tires are 265.75

I want the same set up on my 89' range but I see that the 2" looks taller in the Discos than the Range ,I may go with a extra 2" body ,I like them tall and with fat tires ,thinking 285's with this set up ,if I go just with 2" lift I will only be able to fit 265's ,I dont go any taller because of money to do it right ,if money wasn't a problem I'll a 5" super flex

Walter -- What did you go from and to? I think we're on the same track.. I originally had OME 3" w/ 265/75/16's and TJM T-15 .. I switched to RTE front bumper, switching to RTE 3" and eventually doing 285/75/16 BFG MTs.

That's exactly what i have now except for the tires. I'm running 285/75-16 Buckshot Mudders. The T-15 was just to light weight and couldn't take a hit. It was also without recovery points.
The RTE springs should raise the truck up quite a bit compared to the OME's.
