Another late poster here.

Here is mine with an RTE 2" HD springs and 235/85-16. The thing to keep in mind about RTE springs I've seen a couple of people mention that they give more than 2" which they do if you have a stock truck. The RTE is designed as an off road spring. This means they are heavier and designed to give the appropriate lift with all the correct gear attached. I got 2 3/4" lift with my HD spring over stock. Once I added the RTE Front Bumper 105lbs, and winch 100lbs, roof rack ~ 100lbs and about 200lbs of tools and equipment it sat exactly 2" over stock.

Since there's a few folks here with 2 inch lifts running 265/75's, what kind of body trimming is involved? I'm considering finally modding my Discovery. After driving it for 2 years with stock springs and smaller than stock tires, I'm feeling a bit inadequate.

If you use a stong OME 2" lift, you will not need to trim anything. May have to adjust a steering stop, but that is no big deal.

Are you talking DI or DII because every DI I've ever known about if it's going to be off roaded needs to have a little bit trimmed off the rear quarter for 265/75 or 235/85. The DII on the other hand tend to be ok with those and no problems.

I bought the HD OME 2" springs. No trimming at all... I did have to adjust the steering stops, not much though.

Right because you have a DII! As I mentioned in my post DII's are different then DI's.

Default 265/75

Not to highjack but those of you running 265/75's with a 2" lift do you have rubbing problems. My 2" OME lift gets here next week and i am looking at tries.

I have rubbing at full turn other wise no biggy. I would say get tires in a 235/85/16 size. It's the same size as the 265 but is narrower so You don't have to worry about rubbage.
