I said they would fit in the wheel well I never said he'd be able to turn lol.

You know what just made me laugh, I paid less for both of my classics and my saab than 1 rim would cost

hell I would have 180 left after the RRC's and the Saab.

When you think about it though with $200 per tire and 1780.02 per rim he's looking at $7920.08 for rims and tires. I can't even think of all the mods I could do for that much money.

I hope you're going for 44" tires on those 22's

Look at websites in England. Because of the higher number of old RR1's and RRC's they will have a selection of wheels with the correct lug pattern. Of course they have taste too. I was looking for some 16x8 alloys for my 35" tire project, but the current exchange rate killed the deal.

As far as what will fit, the wheel's offset, and width will be important. More to the point is the available tire's size. For example, a set of 28x7 wheels with a -5.125 offset (if I remember correctly), and a half inch tall (off the wheel) tire would only have you at stock tire size (205/80r16). Good luck finding those tires.

Sell the truck. You don't deserve to own it. Go back to a generic ford product which will show itself on the outside, the same that you feel on the inside. Rover owners don't look at sporttruck magazines. Even the guys and ladies that don't offroad. Just because a classic vehicle starts to depreciate, doesn't mean the owners should have less class as well.

It would be better if you invested the money in assisted suicide.

geez I found the kid some rims and he doesn't even come back to say thanks

Of course maybe he took Roverhounds advice.

If I was him though I would check on Discoweb.org those guys would probably have some great ideas on where to find 22's for a classic

That's just mean. Those ass-clowns would tear him apart for even thinking about it. Remember; they still have the king ass-clown over there. They haven't been smart enough to ban him yet. At least we're just being honest with the guy. Not trying to demoralize or insult him. Well, not too much at least. LOL!

A few of us didn't just diss you. We just said not to go for wheels that big. 22's are not going to look good, or ride good on that truck. 18-20 is the largest wheel you should go with. Not everyone off-roads their trucks, but most of us do. I have one that is off-road only, and one that is used for on road / off road. Plus, I've got one coming that will be for on road only.

But I must say, after that last post; if you've got the money for rims that big, there is another reason to just go with 18-20 on your ride.

You seriously need to pay for a tutor in english. Either that, or your mother needs to backhand you across the face for not paying attention in class. You're about to graduate, and you talk and type like that? What a disgrace to the education system. Unless of course, you're from the south. Then it would be expected.
