Default Largest NITTO's possible on 04' D2

Hi Guys -

Great to finally find the site!
I'm a new owner of a 2004 D2. Have been a Jeep owner in the past, and could finally now afford the big dog...
My question is this:
I was wondering whats the largest size Nitto tires I could put on her with the stock suspension and stock height? I dont have any plans to put a lift on her quite yet, so I need something that wont rub.

I am looking at the Nitto "Trail Grappler m/t" and "Terra Grappler".

Ive read things online that only the 265/60/18 will fit on the D2 with no lift. Any truth to this???

EDIT:
Because after my visit to the local Nitto tire dealer he doesn't know sh*t and says nothing will fit.
On the Nitto website it's saying the Terra Grappler comes in the following sizes:
265/70R18
275/70R18
275/65R18
*Any of these work?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like she currently has 255/55/R18 on her.
How big can I go on a stock Disco II?

So how big do you think I can go without trimming anything? OR adding a lift?

With the 18's you're looking at the 255/60/18 or the stock 255/55/18.

I swore I was going to stop posting on here for a while.

So here's the latest:
I've been all over trying to find the most "aggressive" tire on the market that will fit my stock DII with the 255/55/18. I even talked with the local Land Rover dealer/service professional and he said that a 255/60/18 tire would fit as well.

With my search I found the "General Grabber AT2" tire is the most aggressive looking tire in the market in the 255/60/18 size.

Anyone know anything about this tire?
All of these other brands like Nitto, Goodyear DuraTrac, Bridgestone Mud Terrian, and Cooper don't make anything offroad or aggressive in the stock 255/55/18 or 255/60/18 size.

you can fit 265/60 18 with no problem if you trim the lower air damn on the front bumper you can fit 265/65 18.
