Cool A lil help with rubber

OK maybe you can give me some advice. I need to replace my tires now! I have a 99 disco 1sd, all stock for now. Was thinking about the cooper st or general grabber at or the BFG at. was thinking maybe 255/75/16 or 245/70/16. Will be used on the road every day as this is my "family car". But it will get to make trips to play in the fun stuff. Will get a lift eventually but gonna be a while. What do you guys think?

The BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO would be a real good choice. It's been one of the top A/T tires on the market for years.

The 245/70x16 size is just a hair taller than the oe Michelins, so they should fit fine.

I know a number of serious off-roaders who really like the Cooper ST.
I've run the Cooper STT for a number of years and really liked them, though they are about worn out. I go with a set of ST's, if I don' get another set of STT's.
