Default Lug Nut Help Please

Ok team....I am looking at a sweet deal on some Privat Rohr 18" wheels to replace my Hurricanes (lovely but time for a change...). I have lined up Hubcentric rings for them, but the dealers tech is telling me that I will have
to switch from my factory lugs over to a 14x1.5 "Acorn Spline Lug". Basically a thinner replacement that will fit the wheels. I hate "shrinkage" on anything
having to do with a Land Rover, but will this end up being ok ??

They're just a different design to allow more clearance in a wheel with smaller holes. Structurally, everything will be fine. I've used splines on all kinds of stuff (vehicles seeing lots of heavy offroad activity and racing applications) on both a personal basis and at work.
