I need new shoes for my 01 disco II and would like to beef it up as much as I can without getting a lift. Can I fit 31x10.5R15? I currently have 255/65R15. it looks like the rear would handle it, but I am not sure if the front wheel well is big enough, especially when I take it off road. Please advise I am running on a patched tire and my spare AHHHHHH!!!!

You should be running a 255/16, considering the DII was never offered with 15 inch rims. If you don't mind trimming, a 265/75/16 fits with stock suspension, but you won't be allowed any flex at all. Even with trimming. I ran these in a M/T for a few months, since florida doesn't need much flex. But if you want any flex at all, but still want a taller tire; another 32" is the 235/85/16. It will fit in allowing a little flex, and height will fit with just a little trimming of the front airdam.

you probably have 255x65x16 .. thats what came stock on the D2s.. you can do 255x70x16, which is about a 30" without modification...
if you do a 2" lift, you can do a 265/70/16 nicely, which is a 32"
