One inch = 25.4 millimeters
235/65R16 metric tire has: 235 mm width, 65% profile and 16 inch wheel profile is the height of the rubber expressed as a % of the width the wheel size is in inches no matter what, so 235/25.4 = 9.25 inch width 235*.65/25.4 = 6 inch tire height 16+2*6=28 inch diameter so 28x9.25R16 is the inch equivalent or diameter x width, wheel size all in inches HTH Brian |
