??? Michelin XPC 255/55/18 - Land Rovers Only

I posted this thread in the P38 forum. Maybe somebody here san also give some input.

I've got two tires I definately need to change. I want to get the same type of tire to match the other pair but it seems like this tire has been discontinued. Does anybody have any suggestions as for which tires to replace them with. I'm not ready to change all 4 (which would solve my dilema). I would like them to match, maybe michelin makes the same tire in a different name??? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Have your tire store call the different tire wholesalers to locate a pair or have them call Mitchilin directly.

Michelin discontinued the XPC several years ago. The only place left to get 255x55x18s is Costco. Try them. I know the Costco store in Superior Colorado has a few in their store.

Well I lucked out. Local dealership had 3 left. Thanks for your advice, I'll have this same problem in a couple of years when the other two go bad. I'll wory about that then.

I'm running them on my Disco ll. I've two good ones and the two back-ones that will need replacing soon.Excellent tires, don't know why Michelin discontinued them.I'm thinking about replacing the rear ones with Pirelli Scorpions.
