I can buy them in the U.K. mounted on new Wolf wheels for $200ea. for the wheel and tyre. Shipping them is a PITA. They don't have DOT acceptance markings, so there's really no point to going to the trouble.

Huh? Why buy them in the UK when you can get them at Tire Rack, or any Michelin dealer? I think new, those tires are about 200.00 each. Used, you can get them dirt cheap.

I paid around $640 for a set of 4 mounted and balanced at the local Sears store for Michelin XC LT4's. Not sure how different they are, but the ones I have are pretty nice tires.

I only have one XPC on the front wheel driver's side as part of my new tires i just mounted about 4 hours ago, it seems to be fine. Very deep treaded tire, although I got these tires from drum655 for $250 plus shipping, not bad, I'd say, but the ride is nice, very smooth.

Ever tried to? Michelin doesn't want to sell them. I bought them at Costco for $190 each (255/55R18 version). The Costco guy had to provide my VIN and promise that they were going on that VIN before they would release the tires. Another local tire store had tried to do the same thing, and though the local Michelin distributor, and though it was listed as current and in stock, the distributor wouldn't release any, period. I had tried to buy them on Tire Rack and while it said 'in stock', when I tried to add them to my cart it said they were unavailable.

Used up you can get them dirt cheap. They're pretty good tires, but 6 years old and 80% used up they aren't. If you need a spare, fine, but otherwise better to look at a different tire. If you need 255/55R18, you don't have many choices (the Pirellis are just a street tire made to look tough with an AT-looking tread). The Goodyear HPs are no good off-road either, and they cup and wear out prematurely.

The LT4: "For light truck/SUV owners who rarely venture off-road, Michelin® XC LT4™ tires offer an exceptionally smooth and quiet ride..."

Same for Synchrone, the supposed successor to the XPC (only in price, it seems to me). Neither is half the all-terrain tire that the XPC is. I have a set of Synchrones that came with my Classic. They are super-quiet and seem to last a long time, but they're no AT tire.

It's quite too bad the BFG AT T/A KO is not available in 255/55R18 or 255/65R16, as it is much better than the XPC. For you 255/65R16 people, the 245/70R16 or 255/70R16 might be a close-enough fit. If you don't mind going up a size, the 245/75R16 AT T/A KO is a nice tire, and cheaper than the XPC.

you could just buy the non-used spare off of everyone. I know I have 1 XPC that I am selling.....brand new......im not sure it was ever used.....but it doesnt have those little plastic things on it, so perhaps it was used once. If you got 4 spares....then you have a brand new set

Hey Josh is your spare, a 205/80 on a 16" wheel, is it an XPC, cause mine is, and I know I'd have to get a better full sized spare to match the new tire size I have on now, which is 255/65. And there is no need for my 205/80 XPC, that has been never used.

Maybe we can all sell off our 205's or something!

Yes, its an XPC....and its brand new (pretty much....never used), as a matter of fact....it is a 255/65-16.

I am trying to sell 5 tires atm, 4 Toyo Open Country A/Ts (7k mi give or take), and one new XPC.....all 255/65-16.
