Default new 285/75/R16 on my RRC

i got a new set of radial all terrains for $460, i didnt think they would be this big..hopefully installing the big blue coil springs will lift it higher away from the wheels...i am really satisfied with the tires and the right feels much stronger! anybody want 2 give me some word of advice for larger all terrain tires?

i havent gone offroading yet...im still hesitating because i just replaced my rear diff because of an offroading accident

Very nice tires man!! Those look like around the 32"-33" tire size, they look awesome!! Wish I had something like that on my RRC, as of after my lift I did recently, I have noticed how much more rubber I can run under there.

Pat~ I just looked at your RR! Damn those tires were bald! I have two extra 255/65-16: Stock tire size from my D2 if you need them or want them? Let me know..65% Tread remaining.

Ryan for a larger A/T I would go BFG or B-Claw! I ordered my 35"s B-Claws (Mickey T) tires..once they are mounted I will post pics!

that would be awsome. I've been thinking I want Baja Claws for my next set of tires.

What are your thoughts on the B-Claws? I have had a few mixed reviews on them....I run now the MT/R (GoodYear) and AM SO HAPPY with them. But I figure once the truck has 35"'s it is a dedicated trail rig only.

Thoughts? Yay or Nay??

That is a handsome looking truck! The bigger meat gives it a more serious appearance.
I like the fog horn touch.

looks pretty good....now it really needs a lift/fender trimming
!!

ive got some advice; be careful to not bust an axle or diff-parts; two ways: 1, dont be too hard on it, 2, pray.

when the time comes, I think I'm going for it. right now I have 31" BFG ATs with at least 50,000 miles left in them (they're fairly new) but I'll be getting some second hand 3" BBs soon, so I dont think the 31s will cut it.

the last couple of trips I've been on there was a guy with 35" Baja Claws on his bobed Range Rover and they seem to do very well in snow, mud, and whatever.

i have a 3 inch big blue coil spring lift that i have not installed yet and i do need 2 trim my fenders...will the bigger tires reely put that much more stress on the diffs and axles enough 2 break them? i kno of coarse it is hard on them but what kind of offroading would i have 2 be doing in order 2 break something like that?

depending on how you drive is more of a factor than anything else. that guy I was tlaking aobut with 35s on his Range Rover has been running them on 10-splines. what year is your RRC? they switched to 24 spline axles sometime in '93.
