i think a chrome center cap would be find...if you hate it, grab some rattle can.

its true. the full size and sport models aren't for offroading anymore. well they can offroad, and some do, but they are marketed to the street crawling luxury crowd.

If your going to rock the cragars; we got to get a petition going to get the teflon coated "mojave" wheel made in LR offsets and bolt hole applications. Those would be killer on any Rover. Even a RR3 HSE or RRS.

How dare you accuse my RRC of having class.... Neither she nor I have any class I thought that would be evident to all by now

In the UK/Europe different story...Land Rovers there are much more utilitarian...less fluff...at least up until the late 80's...and that's where their off-road prowess was made legend.

I mean really, if you went out and dropped $80k on a Range Rover HSE you're not really gonna go out and wheel it thru the sticks, picking up pinstripes and rock dings. Now, go buy a used 2003/04 RR for $25k...you might not be so worried about it. Given a little time I bet you will see the after-market begin to make more trail worthy items for them...especially if enthusiasts start to use them to their full potential. Yes, they have an over abundance of electric gizmos...but compared to other domestic vehicles, so did the Classic RR when it hit the US
If you look at 90% of the ads for the RR mk1 and the RRC, they were in off pavement situations, and they did the Great Divide Expedition in 1990 (or so) to gain attention.

My point was the new non live-axle rovers will not be as simply mod-able and you will never see the numbers that the live-axle RR's (RR mk1, RRC, and RR mk2). At some point we will run out of worthy LR's.

I wouldn't even notice if the LR3, Freelander, RR3 or RRS were discontinued. I just don't view those as vehicles worthy of the LR name and heritage.

Even the Queen has gone off road in a RR1 for heaven's sake!

The fast SUV is nearly the most worthless thing ever invented. I'd go after a E55 estate car or an M5 estate car if that need arose.
