Good Lawd, that truck looks sharp Josh. Nice work, now get a real bumper!

Talk to me about 16*7 vs. 16*8...I need some clarification. Why are the 16*8 better?

hehe...tell me about it. I feel like such a poseur

The 16x8"s are the stock size, they will allow you to run a wider tire then 16x7"s. I will eventually run 35"s.....in the future , either way, whatever I get will be wider then the 265/75s.

OK! I See now...well after my latest upgrade (TT Front/Rear) I assume I need to go bigger too.....16*8 here I come!

Now do you rub anywhere? Front sills? Do you have sliders? Have you flexed the back end yet?

All-right! Got mine too! I will post pics ASAP! FWIW: No rubbing yet but I have a scary wobble at 45mph, and some pulling to the left. I probably need to have them re-balanced and re-aligned.

yup, sounds like you need them balaneced...

As for the rubbing, yes I did rub a tad with the smaller backspacing. It wasnt on the fenders, rather, it was on that plastic piece that covers the sill. I used a jigsaw with a fine blade to cut off the ends of the piece; no more rubbing

I also did take Bene's advice and paint the balancing weights on the wheels black.

I used a Benchmade on the sills first time around with the rubbing (looked very GHETTO)...LOL! But then I had Dave Lucas make my sliders about 1" shorter so no more rubbing now!

You and me both. I ordered a Detroit for the rear and am waiting on my HD axles now....Soon very soon!

Depending on who you get the sliders from...I would only go about 2'' shorter than the sills. Dave is a great place to start, I am very impressed with his work. I also thought to: "take about 3'' off" but Dave reminded me that not only was that too much but it also would look silly. Either way 35''s BABY!!
