I just got new wheels for my 04 Disco. I went with the Nitto Terra Grappler's because of the cost of five wheels. My questions are. What should I inflate them to? Should I stay with is what is in the owners manual. The next is does it matter if the balancing weights are on the inside or out side of the wheel. The original weights where on the out side.

I am running stock size 255/55R18. So far they are a good wheel. I still have to get them out in the sand. As for me getting off this rock. It will be a cold day in hell when that happens.

As for your air pressure, try, if it is comfortable, and run 32 to 35#'s in the front and 35#'s in the rear. Doing this should get you more mileages and less irregular wear. The air pressure Rover recommends is to give you a smoother ride but the tires will wear out quicker. Assuming you have the factory 18" wheels air down to 18#' on the beach or off road, much less and you could roll a bead. Take care, Mike |
