That's easy, not worth the expense.

They do work, especially when you are in an area where you get cold snaps. The problem with them is that when you go wheeling and air down, there goes that extra expense, right out the old valve stem.

Mike

I disagree if you do the air down properly then at least you can get high off it before you wheel

all joking aside it's a waste if you ever plan to air down and even if you don't air is free and works just fine.

If you offroad a lot in places where you have to lower your tire pressure, it's not worth it.

i dont think the pros of nitrofill outweighs the price from the stealership. you can buy your own aircompressor for the price that some places charge for a nitrofill

as soon as you get the landy to corner, brake, accelerate like an F1 car... then it is a must.

From what I've heard it's supposed to keep expansion to a minimum to keep perfect pressure over the life of a very high performance tire.

I use CO2, If the truck dies on the trail then I can save many flat beers! If do decide to use N2 then you could save Guiness and Tetleys ale!

I actually had nitro put in my tires when I had new ones put on. It was free.

Anyways, I didnt have it in um for long, because I was unable to air down for the trails. Its great for the road and does seem to give you better mpg, but thats not why I have a Disco. Just buy an air compressor with the money and mount it in your rig.

The air we breath has around 78% Nitrogen I don't think an extra 20% will make that much of a difference. The guy who buys into the Nitrogen thing would need to remember to check there blinker fluid every 1k miles

My wife got it done for free through her contacts at work.

They say it doesnt expand or contract due to vairations in temprature, which would keep the tires at a constant pressure. The nitrogen has no moisture in it like regular compressed air.

I would think its completely useless on a truck that has its tires aired down unless you get a nitrogen tank to refill before hitting the road home.

That and you dont mind spending money on stuff you dont have to.
