Default One more Question...

I want a tall skinny tire -- 235/85

Is there a taller tire I could go with?? Or should I do something like
245/75??

I have D1 with stock axles, 2in

Might be ordering tomorrow

Just want to be sure...

Depends on

a) what you want
b) what you want to use it for
c) terrain

Some 90's came on 85 profile tyres from the factory. Might be pushing it on a Discovery unless you trim the arches.

A 31.10.50 is a nice size, think it about a 265/65. But they are more chunck than tall.

235/85 is 10mm skinnier and a tad taller than a 245/75. With either, you will need to trim a tad in the rear fender if you stuff the tires off-road. I ran 245/75 MTRs I got from a friends Rubicon and loved them. Great size for a stock geared, slightly lifted D1. The 235/85 is a good size as well, I just dont have experience with them. Its up to you. I dont think you will go wrong either way.
