hey, after reading jaymoney's thread, i decided that i want to paint my rims too. but i want mine black. anyways, do you have to Take off the rim to paint it.? or can they stay on the rig.

my thought, take them off...you dont really want to spray on the car, and when they are off you can mask from behind also....
Another thing I found, and I know there will be comments, but coating the rim edge, or any other part not wanting to be painted, in vasaline will keep it from getting painted and then can be wipped off. I used to use this to keep paint off the grooves of the rims on my lowered trucks as a kid....
