Lightbulb Pathfinder AT's

I am looking into getting some Pathfinder All Terrains (265/75/16) tomorrow. Anyone ever use these?

They look damn close to any BFG All Terrain tread, and they are much cheaper too. The Discount Tire Co. that is retailing them to me, offer a good warranty; 55,000 mileage warranty, and if any of the tires blow out, they replace for free.

My total price is about $650-$690. I think it's a good deal.

What y'all think?

I think you can get a set of Maxxis Mudders with Road hazard for like $485 mounted. Here are some on my F250....

Those look awesome!! However, discount or anywhere else here around where I am right now in MI, doesn't retail the Maxxis Mudders, just Maxxis' Rock Crawler tires, which are well too expensive. I wish I could get something like that, affordable though.

It would seem that the Pathfinder AT's I priced out, come with a good warranty, like I said before, and are the only things I can afford, at like $135 a tire.

I dunno why I was told this, but the county I live in, the construction and utility trucks the use out here for road repair and reconnasance (don't think I spelled that right) work, they use these Pathfinder AT's over the BFG AT's. If that means something.

But I guess if I can afford these ones, and are used by the county trucks, I guess they are good enough for me.

I have Yokohama Mohawk AT's to me they look just as beefy as BFG's and they work damn good off road too. I got mines a wheel works for 409$ with free installtion and balancing. I have to get my spare soon my D1 looks a little dumb with 4 large tires and a small ass Spare! Also Pat with 265's the feeling and look of the range rover will change all for the Better. Ur classic will look hella sweet with them.

The BFG's have triple ply sidewalls which are awesome...all these other tires spoken of here do not! Pat...at Tellico....the thick sidewalls are important!!!!

I believe mine has some thick sidewalls, I saw a display tire off the wheel today when I went to get them mounted (BTW guys, I wish I would've heard from ya sooner, but oh well, thanks anyways!). They seem pretty thick.

Anyways, the tires, ride awesome, just like riding in a new truck. I am sure they will hold up real nice, plus the warranty is good for 55,000 miles, and has coverage, should anything happen to the tire, no matter what the case, Discount Tire Co. replace the tire for free!!

Here are pics: (265/75/16) BIG THINGS, fill up the wheel wells real good and I removed the inner plastic fender wells for some clearance for the tires.

Yup, next is the protection gear, and then she will be rock ready. I plan on making my own sliders, unless I somehow get lazy and just order some. I have a used KMC front diff gaurd, bought from Sven, it will do nicely. I might also make the rear diff gaurd if I get fancy, or get lazy and just order one.

Thanks for the comments man!!
