Default Heck no

Nope those were stripped/sanded .. then primed ..then painted ( with the hardener mixed while getting shot ) with an electric painting machine ( no dusting or overspary ).

I srayed painted the wheels on a Dodge 1500, and came awesome.

Secret is the sanding and primer. Also if you like shiny, you can always clearcoat them ( even available on spry cans )

Paint vs Powdercoat? who wins? I've heard positives from both sides...I just think the powercoating would be a bit tougher...I could be wrong though. Seems like the paint with the hardener in it might be the liquid equivilent to powdercoating...i've heard good stuff about that paint.

Anyone had their wheels E coated? I know under hood parts are done this way...usually a flat or semi-flat sheen...might be a bit too far out there for most...just a thought though
