Default Please clarify tire info !! :))

This info is off the basic tire info posting for the 99-04 Disco II-
32"

275/70/16: possible to fit without lift. minor rubbing.

265/75/16: possible to fit without lift. minor rubbing.

285/60/18: 32" tire for the 18" rim. costs much more than 16".

Question is....on the 285/60/18 is it the same as the other two
that it will work without lift, with minor rubbing?

Thank you to anyone that can verify this info for me !

What this information is not mentioning is that if you do any driving thru hard curves, dips, much less off the road, you will tear up a lot of siedwalls much less wheel well metal.
I run 265/75/16's with a 3" lift and I can still stuff a wheel and get a little rub when playing in the rocks.
What is it you are wanting to do with your truck?

Well since te tire 285/60/18 is getting wider than the others, yes it might rub against something while turning, although I do not know if they will rub w/o a lift.

I got on my RRC, which might be a slightly bigger wheel well than a Disco, I got 255/65/16 and when I turn hard, like to parallel park, and the steering wheel is locked, she will rub ever so slightly, but she has never rub anywhere else, even during a wheelin' trip.
