Default repairable or shot spare?

Here are some pictures of my spare.. I know nothing about tires.. is this repairable or completly shot? The tire shows light use.

That tire is destroyed and is no longer safe. DO NOT use it. It cannot be patched.

But fortunately you are running stock tire size which are common and relatively inexpensive used. So you won't get hurt too bad.

Mostly if the hole is on the sidewall, the tire is fucked. If the hole is in the tread, and not bigger than like 1/4 inch, it can be patched. I picked up a self tapper screw in my bald ass stock XPCs when I first joined LRO, managed to patch it. My dad's tire on his minivan picked up a hole, when the strut spring busted out, and punctured the sidewall, making the tire irrepairable.

From what I see, yeah that tire is dead, welcome to tire hunting season, which is about everyday of the year, and I am on that same hunt, have a few hits though.

If you plan on a tire upgrade in the near future, don't waste the money! Just purchase 5 new tires when you get new ones.

Yeah that thought crossed my mind.. Also, upping to a round of 255/70/16's would be pretty sweet. I'm considering it..
