i want to own a land rover because they are sick, and really good off road. and i wont cruise the mall i swear (i never even go to the mall)

the only "gangsta" style stuff im doing is
in dash touchscreen and flip down screen (so i can play footage of my truck off road at auto shows)
20" rims (not wrapped in low pro tires, i want tires with a little more aggressive tread)
new stock decals
tire pressure monitoring system
rearview camera
and possibly a mesh grill

Be careful with the TPMS. Unless you buy wheels set up for them, it's hard to fit after the fact. And be careful of the kits you see at "specialty" aftermarket shops. I've lost count of how many people have been ripped off by those things.

Well; if Tire Rack carries it; I would venture to guess that it is at least a good one. They don't like liability issues or warranty hassles at that place.

But I have multiple concerns from the ad.

1) If the system records every three seconds; why does it transmit to the display every thirty.
2) If the system is reliable and built well; whty are they advertising that spare sending units are available.
(It's good to know, but that's not something good marketing advice would tell them)
3) If the low air pressure snsor can only go down to 18 psi; then it will be real annoying when you air down off-road. Since most people air down to 12-15 psi, you'd want your sensor toread between 5-10 psi, so you'd know before you blew a bead.

those are some mighty good points X. i mean it seems alright but ill have to keep looking for something a little better than that

but i just noticed. it says it can display pressures between 0 and 76 but you can set the warning to go off between 18 and 35

Most sending units have a limited life. They have some kind of battery in them and most are expected to last around 7 years iirc. BUT, having spare ones available is a really good thing as because tire shops break them, or they can break during some flat situations depending on the design.

yeah man i used to work at a tire shop. i know all about broken sensors. it sucks.
