Well it depends on how crazy i get... I'm waiting on a Biz deal to close then i may just get really stupid with the truck(read:along the lines of red rhino's big assed disco) so upgrading weak links won't be a problem but just for shits and giggle what would fit under 5"s trimmed?

man, that really depends, especially on amount trimmed. i put 34x10.5 on 3" lift with trimmed fenders. you can probably fit 35x12.50 with 5" lift and trimmed out fenders. this will need extended links to keep the rear tires out of the rear doors. but as soon as you lay on the throttle offroad, you will pop diffs, cvs and axles.

Simex is pretty famous all around Indonesian off-roader, or maybe around Southeast Asia...most are used for competition in Kalimantan (or Borneo) where the 96 CT was held

just got the 34x10.50 LTBs and the truck is still at the shop, so no pics of that yet. i had a set of 34x9 TSLs that were on 16x5.5 wheels that stuffed very nicely into my truck with 3"+ lift and rear rte arms. 34x10.5 requires more trimming, but at this point, i really don't mind. just don't want to increase the cog anymore, so will continue to cut sheet metal to make it work. only have a few pics of the 34x9s on the truck before i sold them.

also threw in a pic of the guy's truck who bought them just because it looks so awesome.

I tried a set for a couple of weeks they were off a rollover with 80% left on the tred. The vibration was not that bad you did feel them through the steering wheel but only a little more that the Mickey T's. But as was said earlier the noise was unbearable a hilicoptor is a good comparison but when people hear you coming from 2 streets away and it's your tyres not your exhaust it's a bit wierd to say the least. When it came to off road f__ing great, traction is just unreall they beat the BFG Muddies and Mickey T's baja hands down no question. Lot's of fun did not buy them as I had slight rub at full articulation.

hi

I ran those 32" trekker here in malaysia. They have phenomenal grip so much so that you ran the risk of crushing my rover drive shaft. It is very comon occurence here for some of the older series.Typically, people here upgreade their rover axle to a salisbury from the 109" rear axle.

If you are running the newer def or disco, then it should be okay becasue they are generally tougher.

You will love these tyre 4 sure. !

This site is for the guy that designed the tyres and will be able to tell you how and where to get them.

I run JT 2's and many guys I know run them in various sizes. They do not add any real extra load on the car than any tyre of the same size. Most of the guys with Disco II's run them on a standard drivetrain without any issues.

They are a little noisey on the road, but nothing really bad. Because they are cross ply tyres they get flat stops on them when you leave the car sitting for any length of time and therefore can be a bit bumpy for a couple of miles until the flat spots disappear. The ET's are not much different to your swamper tyres, so would not see a huge advantage from Simex. The JT's are better on the road and just as good off road.

The 33x10.5 simex (really 34 inch) will fit under a Disco II with no guard cutting. Just require about 1.5 inch lift in the spring area. On a series 1 Disco they only need a small trim on the back bottom of the wheel arch.

Do any of your people have 5"s and .... something larger?

don't mind upgrading parts just trying to get a feel for what Size I'm going to be able to fit.
