Default Stock wheels

What is the average miles do most people get on there stock 18 Good Year HP's. I have 31,00 on mine and I think I will need some new wheels soon. I inflate my wheels to 40 PSI, but I do alto of highway driving and the PSI goes up with the friction. That is why I think they wore out fast.

that sounds fairly quickly... but i thimk that is a reasonable tome.. i wore mine out in about 10K but i also did a whole lot of trails...
i generally run around 40. but you may want to lower it tomay be 36/38 sounds like a small difference but will make a great deal of diff on how your rover drives feels ,your tire wear and surely your gas milage.....

Bird,
You have gotten pretty good mileage out of your tires, They are prone to irreguler tread wear, noise and bad traction.

rotating tires and setting the tire pressure correctly will get them to last longer.
I have seen upwards of fifty.

by the way bird yours is 30/42 not 40 all the way around. With the warmer climates especially where you are in Hawaii tire pressures increase with heat.
It also causes a premature life expectancy of the tires.

Also too not treading lightly will cause your tires to wear down alot faster.
