Im looking to run the LTBs in 34x10.50. However, I would like to run steel wheels with the offset. According to Interco, the LTBs need an 8" rim. I can only find 16x7 and 15x7 rims. Has anyone run this tires on a 7" rim?

7" is fine. My friend runs that size tire on 15x7 rims. No problems.
A narrower rim is better. When you get the tires mounted on a narrow rim. You'll notice that the tire guy is having a very difficult time getting that tire on. This generally means that the tire is going to have a difficult time getting off again. Obviously, this is a good thing. BTW, seriously consider running airsoft pellets in your tire. It'll be better than having the tire normally balanced. |
