Default Tire Info Needed!!!

OK....I have decided to get new Rubber for the 109 before I export. I just bought a set of 130 Wolf Rims and would like an educated opinion on one of two Tires.

Either the GoodYear G90??

or the Michelin XZL??

Help me out here......I have heard pro's and cons for both. The XZL is a tube tire while the G90 is a tubeless. I can count on one hand (on all 6 fingers) how many times I've had to air down stateside so not 100% with the need for tubes. The only flats I've had have been with tubes, whereas the only flats I've had with tubeless have been torn out side walls so both would have been affected anyway......

Ideas please.....

I air down but never to a level where I would even consider needing tubes. I would skip the tube tires.

I really like the G90's off-road, they totally suck on tarmac though because they wear so quick. 7.50x16 is OEM on the a 109. What are the G90's selling for now in the UK? I may want to chat with you about bringing me a set when you come back.
No personal experience with the XZL's.

If they are new take-offs, like the ones I got last time, that's a really good price for 7.50x15 load range E tires.

I spent about an hour choosing what I was going to get once I got there as well. Turns out the tread depth on the XZL is 6mm DEEPER than the G90! Also the tubless rim was not as appealing as I first thought as if I do air down there sure is a greater chance I can break the bead....and that sucks.Whereas I can air down very low with the tubed rim. I know I said I wasnt sold on the tube tire idea but it just started to make sense for me. So I swapped my tubless Wolf Rims for Tubed Wolf rims and had the ZXL's fitted.NOw I got a great set of wheels and tires...sweet! They are 750R-16's.

SafariRover in Orlando has those new take off sets for 700.00 U.S., and they're already over here. 5 wolf wheels, with brand new 7.50x16 G90 tubeless tires. I bought a set and sold the tires to a guy with a series truck for 350, then used the money to buy a set of weld on beadlocks. Now that's a good deal. lol!
